Growing up, Los Angeles felt larger than life — the city of movie magic and celebrity dreams. A city where the silver screen meets golden sunsets. Growing up, I watched Hollywood in the movies, dreamed of strolling Rodeo Drive, and pictured life in Malibu like the characters I saw on Hannah Montana. It felt like a faraway fantasy, a place where the ocean meets stardom. The glamour, the palm trees, the endless ocean views.
Visiting for the first time was more than a trip — it was stepping into a dream I’d carried for years, each moment shimmering with the magic I’d always imagined.
My trip to Los Angeles felt like stepping into a dream — a mix of ocean serenity and cinematic glamour. I stayed at Stay Awhile Villas in Malibu, right on Carbon Beach, where each morning began with the sound of waves and a refreshing dip in the ocean just steps from my door. Days were filled with both city adventures and quiet coastal moments — the perfect balance.I explored Beverly Hills’ Rodeo Drive, admired the Hollywood Sign from the picturesque stretch of South Windsor Boulevard (between 4th and 5th Streets), and strolled along the Hollywood Walk of Fame, finding the stars of my favorite icons. One afternoon, I had brunch at Laya Restaurant, followed by a classic Santa Monica day — riding the Ferris wheel on the pier and walking barefoot on the beach.Malibu kept calling me back — from long, sunny afternoons to memorable meals at Geoffrey’s and Nobu, each offering ocean views as indulgent as the food itself. I even spotted the Black House and the Barbie House sitting side-by-side, a quirky and colorful surprise. A full day in Laguna Beach was a highlight — wandering the boutique shops, exploring Heisler Park, and strolling through the charming town streets before heading back to the coast to watch the waves roll in. Evenings often ended at the Polo Lounge, where the energy felt timeless and glamorous.
Day 1 — Beverly Hills & Hollywood
Day 2 — Malibu Magic
Day 3 — Coastal Adventures
My days were filled with ocean breezes, scenic drives, and moments that felt straight out of a film. While I’ve already experienced the enchantment of Disneyland Paris, I’ve always believed visiting the original Disneyland in California is something everyone should do at least once. With time running short, I promised myself I’d return to Los Angeles — not just to relive its magic, but to finally walk through those iconic gates.
